Originally hailing from Minnesota, USA, BltzMac has taken the Netherlands by storm. He’s known for blending Neurofunk, Dancefloor, 4×4, and the occasional Hardcore/Hardstyle switch. He’s also performed Liquid and Jump-Up sets, winning a DJ Contest in Kortrijk, BE. To make him even more dynamic, he’s also performed a live “Hardstyle only” set for a private party. You don’t want to be caught sleeping during one of his sets.

BltzMac started DJing in 2020 during lockdown on Twitch.tv. He now has over 1,000 followers, and DJed at TwitchCon 2024 in Rotterdam, NL at the Ahoy Convention Center. He’s been able to showcase his skills worldwide, DJing in Minnesota (USA), the UK, the Netherlands, and Belgium.

BltzMac released his debut EP release in October of 2024, called Awakening. Expect new sounds, different beats, and unexpected switches. He strives to push the crossbreed era of harder styles and drum and bass, similar to BLVCK CROWZ, Gancher & Ruin, and now many others.

Background

He entered the EDM scene and the community surrounding back in 2015 while attending Lollapalooza in Chicago, IL. The following year, he attended Ultra Miami and was inspired by the story of Afrojack. The next year he attended EDC Las Vegas, and his mind was set to learn more about the music industry.

San Holo and DROELOE were his first influences to produce music. You can hear styles from both in BltzMac’s tracks. Monstercat was his next line of influence, and showed him the massive world of EDM. With releases covering almost every subgenere of EDM, he enjoyed the journey of learning how to mix Dubstep, Big Room, House, DnB, and Harder Styles.
